Millbank Gardens Primary Academy officially opened as a new school on 1st September, 2024. As a new school, we do not yet have an Ofsted report and our children have not yet taken any national assessments. When they do, a summary of their outcomes will be available here. 

The school opened on the same site and with the same leadership team as its predecessor school, Millbank Academy. Millbank Academy had an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted grade and achieved excellent results in 2024:

• 80% of children achieved at least the expected standard in all three of reading, writing and maths – well above the national average of 61%
• 18% of children achieved the highest possible outcome of greater depth in all three of reading, writing and maths. The national average in 2023 was 8%. The national average for 2024 has not yet been released.

The children at Millbank Gardens are taught by the same wonderful teachers as at Millbank Academy, the vast majority of whom have served our local community for many years. We have also been joined by some highly experienced teachers from Churchill Gardens Primary Academy, following its closure in August 2024.
